Mental wellness is important to all of us. Mental health diagnoses are common and one in five of us will have a challenge in our lives when we could benefit from therapy, support and/or medical attention.

As Direct Care Workers, you spend time with consumers and may see behaviors or changes that cause you concern. This training session provides information to increase awareness of mental health and cognitive needs and discusses what you can do as a Direct Care Worker to provide compassionate understanding to people who are struggling.
